The growing presence of governmental and institutional travel in the tourism industry has led to the designation of them as ‘Governmental and Institutional Travel and Tourism’ (GITT), as well as the standardization and specialization of the professionals who participate in it.

Due to the notable differences between the sector in comparison with others in the tourism industry, this course contextualizes the management, contracting and monitoring procedures of chauffeured services in the development of governmental and institutional travel.

Similarly, the course sets out the main functions and operations carried out by transportation professionals, with the aim of strengthening the organizational and service execution capacity throughout the different stages of this type of travel.

Finally, the fundamentals that the United Nations Organization has defined in relation to the Development of Sustainable Tourism are also included. Assessing its possible application to the various areas of action involved in the GITT sector.
